Election interference: ‘No’ team is threatened by far left body

“For the HRC, the Voice is not about race. It’s about participation, it’s about equity, it’s about elevating the position of First Nations’ people. It is about a well-deserved and a well-canvassed position and a journey we have travelled for a long time about finding a way out and moving forward to support our Indigenous peoples.”

– Human rights commissioner Chin Tan labelled Johannes Leak’s work racist in 2020

  1. Pommy Al says:

    It is entirely about race.

  2. C.L. says:

Which is why he wants to ban any mention of race.

Another high quality appointment by the Morrison government.

  3. Riversutra says:

I was just reading this article on their ABC site and thought “if not about race, then what???”.
Then I thought ” hang on a bit, this Human Rights Commissar was the bloke who never said Boo during the COVID repression so no wonder he’s taken this position”, must have been so hard for him to bite his tongue for a couple of years, just waiting for some HR crime to really show the world he’s a brave and fearlessly progressive.
Just look at him go with

finding a way out and moving forward

. Gotta do that moving forward .
Not about race by a bloke called Tan, love it!

  4. twostix says:

Human Rights are a communist creation, at this point people should stop being surprised that ‘Human Rights’ commissars are overtly intervening against native populations on behalf of the global regime where ever they are created.

  5. Lee says:

“For the HRC, the Voice is not about race.”

    Sure it’s not!

I’d have expected similar sophistry from an apartheid era South African government.

  6. jupes says:

The voice is not about race.
    War is peace.
    Freedom is slavery.
    Ignorance is strength.

  7. Christine says:

    “moving forward”. But of course
The annoying expression, so popular with the baa baa mob. And the stink is all over the HRC.
    What a nerve he has.

  8. Buccaneer says:

Four legs good, two legs bad.

  9. Rabz says:

“For the HRC, the Voice is not about race.”

    Shut it down.
    Fire them all.

    Some updates.

Dennis Elbow is doing much to unify the country[giggle], referring to critics of the Voice™ as “Chicken Littles”. Way to go.

Anthony Albanese brands Voice opponents ‘Chicken Littles of the past’

  11. Buccaneer says:

Chicken Littles of the past, that was the ‘devestating’ insult he had prepared. He ain’t no Keating. All tip, no iceberg.

  12. Lee says:

    A statesman Albo ain’t.

Any leader like him and Biden who insults his own countryman and women isn’t fit to hold any public office.

  13. and says:

Just a short while ago Dennis Elbow was posed the question “what is a woman?” by Piers Morgan. Surprisingly, the Pride Piper gave a simple, straightforward answer, albeit followed by many um’s and ah’s. Well, unsurprisingly, this triggered the alphabet goop, particularly the “trans” department. There are some doosy quotes in this one, an homage to contemporary derangement.

However Mr Albanese’s answer continues to anger many in the transgender community, with some calling him a ‘transphobe’ and claiming he is using talking points echoed by TERF (Trans-exclusionary radical feminist).

The CEO of Equality Australia, Anna Brown, suggested that the prime minister shouldn’t answer a question designed to ‘attack’ transgender people.

‘But when any leader is asked a question designed to attack trans women, they should first call it out for what it is,’ she told media.

‘They can instead speak to trans people in Australia and directly let them know that they will not be part of the punching down.’

Greens MP Stephen Bates said the prime minister needed to ‘get a spine and stop mumbling platitudes in an attempt to placate the transphobes’.

‘You don’t get to march with us in Mardi Gras and then ignore us when things get tricky for you,’ he wrote.

Transgender Victoria co-founder and Just.Equal Australia spokesperson, Sally Goldner, slammed Mr Albanese’s ‘failure to defend trans women’.

‘Trans and gender diverse Australians need a prime minister who will defend them, not one who sucks up to right-wing provocateurs,’ she said.

Transgender activist and blogger Eleanor Evans also called out the Prime Minister.
‘Great, so Albo did an interview with right-wing shock jock Piers Morgan – already bad enough,’ she wrote.

‘But then, he used it as an opportunity to drop anti-trans dogwhistles while umming and ahing about ‘respect’.

It’s people asking “what is a woman?” that are the shock jocks????

Notwithstanding TERFS, BURPS, and SMURFS, the purveyors of perversion – in more ways than one, most notably the “trans” faction of the alphabet goop, are CRAP… their every utterance is CRAP (Cognitively Retarded Asinine Piffle)

  15. Jed says:

Is the case for the No vote been made and, if so, where can you find it?

  16. Bazinga says:

No is self evident, except to racists.

  17. Boxcar says:

Is this the same HRC that allowed elderly people to be held in solitary confinement for two years.
Is this the same HRC that has ignored the indignity delivered to real aborigines by a bunch of political grifters for the last 50 years?
Is the HRC itself guilty of all charges?

  18. Buccaneer says:

Albo confirmed that Yes is nothing more than a sledge and wedge play to cast his opponents as racists in his latest speech. Very much in the same vein as the way the Dems treat uppity blacks who refuse to toe the systemic racism lie. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/bigoted-dems-ignore-tim-scotts-character-instead-attack-color-skin

  19. C.L. says:

Albo confirmed that Yes is nothing more than a sledge and wedge play to cast his opponents as racists in his latest speech.

    Yep.

And I like that he admits that the change is generational and immovable.

  20. Old Lefty says:

More ‘educationists’, less education. More Human Rights Commissions, less freedom.
