Thoughtful article, except I question the idea that she was”found armed with a steak knife”.
Wasn’t she in the communal kitchen, presumably in the middle of preparing a snack after she woke during the night? I did the same last night. Hard to do without a knife. Should my wife have called the police so they could taser me?
Maybe the charge should be at least manslaughter now?

Trigger-happy cop was named Kristian White. With a name like that he’s lucky it wasn’t an aboriginal death in custody.

  3. Perfidious Albino says:

In any other circumstances the charges would have been upgraded to manslaughter by now…

  4. Cassie of Sydney says:

What was done to Clare Nowland was due to bad policing, shocking policing. It should never ever have happened. Whilst I want White accountable, I also want to see his slimy superiors, beginning that utterly bovine and useless NSW Police Commissioner, Karen Webb, also brought to account. She just disappeared when asked about the tasering, her delinquent dissembling when asked about the tasering was sickening to watch. The buck is supposed to stop with her, but just like those other useless females promoted to senior police ranks, Cath Burn and Christine Nixon, Webb went missing in action. Like Burn, like Nixon, Webb was promoted because of her sex, not because of any abilities she possessed. She was a diversity and inclusion appointee, and of course, appointed by a so called useless Liberal government.

To Clare Nowland, rest in peace. She’s with God now.

Bucks don’t stop anywhere any more, Cassie.

  6. Old Lefty says:

The Victorian and ACT governments would probably give the walloper a medal for ridding them of a CatholoNazi.
