    It seems that some folk manage on centreLink payments and those that don’t get publicity .. I notice most of these tale sof ‘woe” involve single mothers who don’t see working as an option yet “our” ABC never seems to find any single Dad’s ..
    I raised 4 kids as a single Dad in one of the worst of the drug infested SE Sydney “houso” estates never blamed anyone else just got on with what was available ..
    All 4 now own their own homes, 3 are millionaires & 2 own businesses ..
    Life is what you make of it ……. Hi Luigi! ..

    I wonder if he’ll give F/A-18s to Ukraine? He’s under pressure to do so.

    I never see the ABC interviewing a ‘typical’ mother on any issue whatever, when there is any sign of a husband in evidence.

    @Ed Case

    So when is your PM Albanese appearing in Kyiv with Zelensky?

  8. Old Lefty says:

    Don’t forget, cuckoo, that being a married, heterosexual full-time mother is the one thing these days that counts as a deviant pervert lifestyle. If said mother is a Judeo-Christian fascist to boot, she will soon be deemed to be a child abuser and subject to progressive peace-and-freedom-loving socialist people’s liquidation.

    It’s just another standard whinge story, there is one EVERY day on the ABC website.
    They find someone who needs someone else to fix their life and let’s them whinge.
    The article leaves many unanswered questions to an enquiring observer. Where is the partner, why doesn’t the Centrelink payments help, why not take action on your own, why not get a job and in this case, why doesn’t she wash her own nappies instead of it being a deal breaker if she can’t be freely supplied with her fav brand of disposables?
    Whinge and get someone else to fix your life. The future is feudal.
