Lawyers for journalist Lisa Wilkinson have referred the leaking of her pre-interview with Brittany Higgins to the Australian Federal Police.

  2. Lee says:

If the left didn’t have double standards they would have none at all.

  3. twostix says:

Australia is such a tiny place, the ruling class even tinier. Favours abound.
I don’t think we realised just how corrupt and insane gen-x were going to be once power shifted from boomers and they took the reins. Then again the proudly nihilistic atheist generation have no reason to not be.

  4. and says:

Remains to be seen how Greypus will handle the upset and discomfort of an anti-corruption scrutiny of his handling of the Briggins settlement.

  5. Ed Case says:

    Boomers: 1 Jan 1941 – n31 Dec 1970.
Late Boomers are still in the saddle [just].

  6. Buccaneer says:

Those generation definitions are meaningless, the dates keep changing but generally boomers usually stop at 65.

That said, the US which is the source of most of the insanity has mostly boomers in top leadership roles. Biden and Pelosi are hardly gen x,

  7. Ed Case says:

A generation is defined as the average age of women between their first and last children.
    Historically, that’s been 30 years.
You can also check it by schools Admissions Registers.
The numbers rocketed in 1947, stayed high through 1976, crashed in 1977.
    Hence, the Baby Boomer generation.
Gorton, Whitlam, Fraser, Hawke, and Howard were from the 1911 to 1940 generation.
Peter Dutton will probably be the last of the Boomers if he makes it.

  8. Lee says:

Normally I wouldn’t cite Wikipedia, but it has got it right this time:
    Baby boomers 1946-64.

  9. Ed Case says:

    A generation isn’t 18 years.
    That’s nuts.

  10. Boambee John says:

Nut Case claims something he disagrees with is nuts.

    Pot, meet kettle.

  11. a reader says:

Ed, why do you persist with the pathetic, low-energy trolling? Your not being controversial, you’re being daft. You’re not playing devil’s advocate and provoking introspection and thought, you’re being obtuse.

  13. Buccaneer says:

ABS doesn’t agree with you Ed,

Asking for a friend, does ed stand for erectile dysfunction?

  14. Ed Case says:

I can’t believe anyone could be silly enough to believe a Generation could come and be gone in 18 years.

  15. Buccaneer says:

Well show us a reference that backs up your assertion Ed, it’s not hard…

  16. Boambee John says:

    Grandpa Cletus

It would be easy for you to win this argument. Just link to a reliable source for your definition of “generation”. Something more reliable than the ABS.

Can you, or are you still making things up?
