Don’t visit China, and don’t visit Russia either. Several westerners have been held for ransom lately, despite being Russia supporters.

The US isn’t much better, just ask Julian.

  2. C.L. says:

Duggan is an Australian citizen taken hostage in Orange, NSW, by Mark Dreyfus – at the request of the United States.

And incarcerated without trial in high security cells.

    Interesting essay, thanks NFA.

Trial? He hasn’t even been charged – with anything.

    My apologies C.L.

You are quite correct and I was remiss and you have highlighted the salient point.

If Australia’s ‘legal system/gang’ can do this without impunity to him, how many others have been disappeared and what is to stop the communist scum in our politico/legal systems from doing that to any of us?

  6. Franx says:

Problem is, NFA, that the US deem Duggan to be communist scum.

  7. Christine says:

This is so much worse when you read “an Australian citizen taken hostage in Orange”; not charged.

  8. Eyrie says:

The Duggan case is outrageous. Australian citizenship sure doesn’t count for much. People need to realise that we no longer live in any kind of liberal democracy where the rule of law prevails but a crude thuggocracy.
