The shameless louts who ran a rape circus to win an election…

Not only did Labor do that with the Higgins business, they are still misinforming and lying about the Voice and and how renewable energy will be cheaper.

  2. C.L. says:

    Plus…

The entire governing and bureaucratic class of this country wilfully spread online hate and misinformation for two years during the ‘pandemic.’

They must all be brought to account.

  3. Buccaneer says:

and how renewable energy will be cheaper.

There was an ad on tv today saying Aussie power prices are the most expensive in the world, so you should buy their solar panels.

  4. jupes says:

According to the draft bill, misinformation is defined as unintentionally false, misleading or deceptive content.

Covid is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.
    Trump colluded with Russia.
    Pell was a pedo.
Renewables are the cheapest form of electricity.
    Aborigines were farmers.
The 2020 election was the fairest election ever.
Cutting penises off boys and breasts off girls is gender affirming care.

  5. jupes says:

Oh sorry, I read that as “intentionally false”. The list above are lies, not mistakes.

  6. Christine says:

Here it is again. Keeping Australians “safe”. More lies.

  7. Philby says:

The communists have infiltrated all levels of government and institutions. I wonder if the voters are having buyer’s remorse yet. Are there no centre right champions left in Australia to combat these traitors.

  8. Fred says:

WA Governor Kim Beazley said 1 in 6 kids will die from Covid. I wonder if he would be prosecuted?

  9. Franx says:

Yes, Christine, ‘safe’ is increasingly a menacing term.
And the aim is that the threat of being kept safe would require that the msm as the propaganda arm of the state disseminate all manner of lies couched as ‘professional news’, expert, incontrovertible information – as during covid and other recent wars.

the new powers would not apply to professional news content

  10. Rabz says:

Didn’t Gillard try to do exactly the same thing?

    Nothing if not predictable.

  11. Lee says:

The entire governing and bureaucratic class of this country wilfully spread online hate and misinformation for two years during the ‘pandemic.’

They must all be brought to account.

Sadly, the governing and bureaucratic class on the wrong side of history (the left) will never be brought to account.

But many should be doing long prison sentences, especially the vaccine Hitlers.

  12. Mantaray says:

jupes (6.03pm) “According to the draft bill, misinformation is defined as unintentionally false, misleading or deceptive content.

The BoM told me (a few say beforehand) it would be 25 degrees and sunny last Saturday in my neck of the woods. Turned out to be 18 degrees and cloudy due to an “unexpected. fast-moving front” coming through.

What will the fine be for this misinformation, d’ya reckon?

  13. NFA says:

Obviously you’ll be going to gaol for that comment Mantaray.

  14. John says:

Are there no centre right champions left in Australia to combat these traitors.

There are, such as Family First, but nobody is voting for them. The whole country has gone communist, expecting the government to solve the self inflicted chaos in their lives.

  15. Texas Jack says:

Ms Rowland said “the government has no intention of stifling freedom of speech in this area” but instead aims to “keep Australians safe”.

Notice the complete lack of awareness?

I just don’t get why nobody in the Coalition appears to have the cojones or the brains to take apart leftists when they spout Orwellian drivel. I mean Rowland is proposing a LITERAL Ministry of Truth and the Coalition’s shadow says: The public will want to know exactly who decides whether a particular piece of content is misinformation or disinformation.

    Pathetic

  16. Texas Jack says:

Btw, C.L. if you ever decided to have a daily “how would you advise so-and-so Coalition parliamentarian” post I reckon it would quickly become the go-to site….

  17. Franx says:

What will the fine be for this misinformation, d’ya reckon?

You miss the point – the new powers envisage that ‘professional news content’ – ie experts and the msm – are exempt and perfectly entitled to propagate lies. Indeed, are envisaged as tasked with the role.
