Ah! Yes. Carlson on democracy. How very wonderful. A bit like George Pell on romance. Or Xi Jinping on competition policy. Again, we thank God for Putin and his defence of Ukrainian democrats.
Better still, like Nix on any topic.
Love Tucker, but what’s the NATO alternative?
Isn’t the counterfactual here one in which militaristic Russia gets to consume a buffer state neighbour cheaply while NATO is shown to be a paper tiger?
Excellent as usual from Tucker, however I have to quibble about “Churchill throwing an entire opposition party in jail for the duration” during WW2.
I don’t think the Nazis were the “opposition”. They were the enemy. Big difference. Yes, they did suspend the 1940 election, however from that point the Conservatives governed in coalition with Labour. Elections were held in 1945 while war with Japan was ongoing.
Buccaneer: he’ll buy any harbour bridge that a sprinkler is selling. Even Carlson, who has literally run out of Rupert’s rope.
A visitor to this site might think I’ve triggered Nix into an incoherent response, sadly, the rest of us know that’s most Nix comments here.
