    I see people are after Clarence Thomas on the basis he was a Harvard Affirmative Action recipient.
    On a case by case basis there is nothing wrong with taking genuine disadvantage into account when determining university acceptance.
    Thomas grew up dirt poor in segregated Georgia.
    He’s exactly the sort of brilliant individual who should have been given a place

    I think he went to Yale but not as an affirmative action beneficiary.

    The great universities of America have endowments that are quite mind-boggling. Providing places to the genuinely talented – regardless of wealth and background – is something they are well placed to do.

    It’s not that long ago that leftists were defending the Supreme Court against the government.

    Not in the U.S., of course, but in Israel!
