Hiding supposed evidence, the ABC rebuts race stand-off video

The context doesn’t justify the apartheid rhetoric and a refusal to show the whole clip is suspicious.

Yes CL. Typical of leftists is that instead of allowing the viewer / listener to decide what to think / believe according to the entire interaction, it has to be “narrated”. The plebs have to be told what was said and how bad / good it was / is lest they draw the “wrong” conclusion.

F the ABC. Just more of their deceptions writ LARGE!

  2. C.L. says:

The decision not to show the whole video suggests to me that the two Aboriginal ladies were on the foreshore trolling residents. Why else would residents start “coming out of their houses”? And why were they filming other people’s homes in the first place?

  3. Jannie says:

I cant bring myself to click on ABC links, that’s for real soldiers or zombies. I am guessing the ABC is still dedicated to hating Pauline. That’s cool cos I hate the ABC

Did you know the ferry from Inskip Point to Frazer island is named Mantaray?

  4. jupes says:

In the 48-second clip, the woman filming is heard shouting at a white woman to leave a stretch of foreshore which belongs to the Butchulla people and saying they “owned these lands to the exclusivity of all others which comes under federal native title”.

“You might not like it, but guess what? Times are changing. You don’t own the land, we do. Get off it, please,” the woman filming is heard saying.

Can’t really imagine that she used the word “please”. Regardless, with or without “context”, it contradicts the message Noel Pearson has been sending lately.

  5. Cassie of Sydney says:

Further to their ABC, the Oz is reporting the following…

The ABC says it did not tell the whole truth about protest at Woodside boss’s house

The ABC has admitted that public statements indicating a Four Corners crew had no prior knowledge about a planned protest outside Woodside Energy chief executive Meg O’Neill’s private residence, which was met with wide condemnation, were wrong.

As for those who say “oh just ignore the ABC, it doesn’t matter, it’s rapidly losing viewers and relevance”, it is very clear that the less viewers it has and the more irrelevant it becomes, the more dangerous and hostile it is to middle Australia. It is out of control. Shut the ABC down.

Hahahahhaahahaha! Seriously? What, they claimed they just happened to be driving past?
On a serious note, the amount of totally unbelievable bullshit the left is spruiking lately, is a real worry. The “it’s only one page” doubling down by ‘fact checkers’ and the like has really raised the bar of bald-faced lying. They know we know, but they have the absolute gall to call the fact it is 26 pages a “conspiracy theory”. We really do live in an Orwellian world.

    Old Russian joke:
While watching a parade on Red Square, Napoleon turns to Brezhnev and says, ‘If I had tanks like that, I wouldn’t have lost the battle of Waterloo’. Brezhnev replies: ‘And if you had newspapers like we have, no one would have known you’d lost the battle of Waterloo’.

It’s akin to someone trying to get you to sign a contract but not to worry about the attached fine print.

“Oh don’t worry about that; just sign the contract!”

  9. Wally Dalí says:

    From that ABC-
WARNING: This story contains language that is hate speech.
It’s unclear what the “hate speech” is, unless it’s the ABC relaying anonymous vile and hateful vile comments on vile social media…. there’s no racial, sexual or LGBTIQA slurs as far as I can tell.

  10. C.L. says:

Ask yourself if the ABC would have decided not to upload the video if it was damning for the whites.

  11. C.L. says:

They know we know, but they have the absolute gall to call the fact it is 26 pages a “conspiracy theory”.

The strange Chris Kenny lost his street fight with Peta Credlin during the week when he resorted to “conspiracy theory.”

“It’s a conspiracy theory” is the new Godwin’s Law.

  12. Fat Tony says:

If the Aborigines were given back the whole of Australia as-is, and all the white people & other non-Aboriginal races left, anyone got a guess on how long before the country was back to the pre-1788 state?

  13. Tel says:

… anyone got a guess on how long before the country was back to the pre-1788 state?

Never … China would grab it very quickly.

You can’t turn back the clock.

  14. Franx says:

The Uluṟu statement, in its one-page distillation, makes reference to ‘our aspiration’ in a relationship with ‘the people of Australia’:

Makarrata is the culmination of our agenda: the coming together after a struggle. It captures our aspirations for a fair and truthful relationship with the people of Australia and a better future for our children based on justice and self-determination.

I would not say it’s what is intended, yet the same sentiment could envision the creation of a set of relations between two distinct national groups – between ‘our’ national group with its ‘agenda’ and ‘aspirations’, and that of some othered and ‘Australian’ national group.

  15. Old Lefty says:

Jeremy Hans (professor of law at University of Melbourne) often complains that the ABC doesn’t provide links to the original texts of court judgements on which it provides (often slanted) reporting. Thankfully, the judgements are now available on line so we can read them for ourselves without the hyperbias.

  16. Old Lefty says:

Gans, not Hans. Autocorrect strikes again!

  17. Lee says:

I think it was Rowan Dean who recently said that a conspiracy theory is next year’s news.

Kenny has been drinking the Kool-Aid over the Voice and has shredded his credibility on pretty well everything, AFAIC.

So what that a totally irrelevant crowd of clowns has become more dangerous and hostile? It reminds me, of say, the Japanese military….or the German military in their Berlin bunkers spitting chips as the Russians or Americans got closer. Big deal! l

“So what that a totally irrelevant crowd of clowns has become more dangerous and hostile? It reminds me, of say, the Japanese military….or the German military in their Berlin bunkers spitting chips as the Russians or Americans got closer. Big deal! l”

Perhaps when a crowd of clowns invades your property, you might differently.

Perhaps when a crowd of clowns decides to destroy your professional career and life, as they did with Cardinal George Pell, with Andrew Laming, with Christian Porter, with Alan Tudge and with others, you might think differently.

In the meantime, the taxpayer funded ABC, which now doesn’t even bother to adhere to its charter, is at war with the Australian people. And you know what, I happen to think that’s a big deal and it needs to be taken seriously.

  21. Rabz says:

“It’s a conspiracy theory” is the new Godwin’s Law.

There is no such creature as a “conspiracy theory”, but as we now know, there’s no point in assuming that illiterate innumerate anti-scientific ahistorical smugnoramuses would be aware of that fact.

It is correctly known as a “conspiracy hypothesis” or the plural, “conspiracy hypotheses”.

    Sacré bleu.

  22. Mantaray says:

To Cassie, and others who are fretting about some smelly riff-raff (protestors plus ABC staff liars) acting the d’head: Do NOT allow your property to be invaded!

My property is not / was not invaded by the dopes. When they DARED arrive en masse (with the “sainted” Bob Brown in tow) in Central Qld prior to the 2019 election they were met with forceful CITIZENS telling them to get outta town. And they did.

They were CRYING at the hostile reception. They were “shocked” at the jeering and the laughter. How I remember the quaking in fear when they showed up at the Saturday Airlie markets to be mercilessly mocked. Ah, fond memories!

They were refused fuel and supplies in Clermont and Emerald and Moranbah (had to get a diesel-fueled truck to bring a diesel generator to charge their token EVs). Their enablers were turfed out by irate locals. The miners…and the mines….were NOT kow-towing to THEM.

Basically I have no understanding for people who SEE the govt and their underlings tearing up the rule book, and then moaning that they are playing dirty. THIS is why the left are ….WERE…winning the culture war. One minute, on this blog, we have people cheering the pushback against leftism….and the next the same people whining that THEY are afraid to pushback.

I guess I’m saying: “Grow a pair!” Or maybe: “You have nothing to fear but fear itself”?

    Well…stop fearing.

  23. rosie says:

The decision to include that strip of land in a native title claim was wrong, they got a huge area, why did that public beach and road right in front of a residential area get included?
The March newspaper article said they blocked off the access road and had been harassing residents living opposite who wanted to walk along the beach.
In addition I saw on twitter the aboriginal language she was using was very foul cursing.

  24. rosie says:

This is pay back, power and money, as many billions as they can get their hands on.
Won’t matter one bit that it won’t ‘ close the gap’.

  25. Cassie of Sydney says:

“I guess I’m saying: “Grow a pair!” Or maybe: “You have nothing to fear but fear itself”?”

Tell that to the late George Pell, who spent over a year in prison for a crime he did not commit, a persecution orchestrated and driven by the ABC.

Tell that to Christian Porter, who saw his career destroyed, due to the malfeasance of the ABC.

Tell that to the young daughter who awoke, at 6.00 a.m. in the morning, to find eco zealots invading her home, with the ABC outside filming it on her mother’s driveway. Should she grow a pair?

I don’t have a penis and testicles “to grow a pair” but as many can attest here, I’m no shrinking violet however I really do think that you need to address the seriousness of the issues here with “their ABC”, rather than resorting to ad hominem and very pompous denunciations. It’s tedious.

  26. Mantaray says:

Cassie. I’ll take that suggestion regarding Cardinal Pell and chew on it for a while. Save it for my next prayer, maybe…

As for the others, their careers are “destroyed” because their colleagues ALLOW them to be destroyed. Counter Example of what should happen: when Bill Shorten had rape allegations against him, the ALP circled the wagons and got the LNP F’wits to play along…..saying nothing in public about the claims so as NOT to destroy his career.

Then the Brittany invention (rape fantasies are extremely common…https://quadrant.org.au/magazine/2018/10/feminists-enjoy-rape-fantasies/ ) and ScoMo immediately fell in with the crap story to help dump BS all over Bruce and by-association the Libs. Or Porter not being defended. Etc etc.

BTW: I was once stopped by an ABC journalist to give a man-in-the-street response to some shyte. “Fuck off Swampy!” was the only response imparted.
