The new Labor Premier of Victoria sounds a lot like the old one

A leftist anti-life ‘Catholic’ who has never worked outside of politics and has no trade or profession.

    What did you expect?

  2. rosie says:

    Different promises to powerful unions?

  3. Rohan says:

Should have added middling IQ too. Basically qualified to be nothing other than a low to mid level bureaucrat, complete with a dazzling array of rubber stamps, neatly arranged on her desk and seldom used.

  4. Bruce of Newcastle says:

She says she’ll keep doing to Victoria what Dan did.

Jacinta Allan to ‘continue the work underway’ in Victoria (27 Sep)

Just a different hand on the pineapple.

  5. Rohan says:

And as an aside to Allen’s near uselessness, the manager of the hardwood plantation business said he’d had a meeting with Allen once upon a time. She made all the right noises then tasked her bureaucrat to followup. Months go by, noises were made about actioning whatever was agreed. More months roll by then, that bureaucrat has left. So sorry, bye.

3 years and 1 1/2 months till the next election. Assuming the LNP half pulls their act together.

BoN – that’d be two hands and a ram-rod on that pineapple – the way Viktoria is copping it…

    Hahahahhahahahaha!

  8. Megan says:

Family member works for well respected senior manager in one area of JA’s
department. Claims she is the worst person, bar none, he has ever worked for. Mean to the bone. Allegedly.

And judging purely by her incompetent work record to date we shall endure much more of the same with no cavalry in sightm

  9. C.L. says:

    Did an Arts degree.

Then worked as a Labor staffer.

    Then got elected at 25.

Been on the MP’s dole for more than quarter of a century.

Went to Catholic primary and secondary school but backed extreme abortion laws, extreme VAD laws and extreme homosexual adoption laws.

The Church clearly needs to think about getting out of the ‘education’ business.

  10. Fat Tony says:

Nobody should be eligible for Parliament until they are 50 to 70 years old, and spent the majority of their working life in private enterprise (no Gov, NGOs etc) and a maximum of 2 terms, then any pension would be subject to the same rules as all us Plebs.

Also subject to recall if sufficient #s of electorate pissed off with them.
And a very high standard of behaviour – no b/s, no bribes, no job for the family etc….

  11. Buccaneer says:

It’s hard not to think that Victorians are getting their Karma good and hard. Few will ask themselves how it comes to pass that NSW can get twice the results from similar spend for their infrastructure projects or where the balance of that spend might have been landing. They largely just crap on about what a great job Andrews has done.

If one sticks one’s head in one’s rectum, don’t be surprised when the dirtbags of the world pick your pockets.

  12. NFA says:

    She is ‘labor’ royalty…
    (from their wiki)

A member of a prominent Bendigo political family, she is the granddaughter of William Allan who was the president of the Bendigo Trades Hall Council.

  13. and says:

Vasco Da Garma’s on a roll. He’ll have to soon face his protection of Pufthansa for his mate, the Lepercorn. And as soon as the train wreck of the Voice™ is over, Da Garma’s going to give his full attention to accelerating – let’s get there quickly – the wrecking of Australia’s power supply [while designing a few more rings… and some gowns for the Melbourne Cup].

Anthony Albanese to accelerate transition to low emissions after voice referendum.

  14. Lee says:

Jacinta Allan confirms she will ‘actively’ campaign for ‘Yes’ vote as Premier as she opens up about her support for the Voice …

If John Farnham’s support for the Voice tanked, what makes Allan think hers will help?

    LOL.

  15. and says:

From Jane Carosene – Madam Grouch herself.

    Jane Caro
    @JaneCaro
Am sitting in a bakery eating lunch wearing my ‘YES’ badge. Two old blokes sitting opposite suddenly start talking very loudly about how marvellous Jacinta Price is. Funny how grumpy the nay sayers are, given the polls.

Job done, those two old blokes now entered into folk lore thanks to Jane dumb bint who couldn’t keep her mouth shut.

  17. emmachisit says:

    Projection, much?

And Jacinta is younger, cooler and on the right side of history. How the Truth hurts for outdated flakes like Caro.

  18. Phil says:

Posted the household NO votes today in ink. Donated to Jacintas NO campaign and attached a VOTE NO sign on the front fence. Not a lot more I can do, funny how few people want to engage in political discussion these days except when you strike a rabid communist Labor supporter (are there any other type) then all you hear is shouting and personal abuse. I cannot believe how many really wealthy people are communists.

  19. C.L. says:

    Great work, Phil.

I cannot believe how many really wealthy people are communists.

I don’t think there is any other kind.

  20. emmachisit says:

It’s like being Green. Helps a great deal to be rich in order to live well under the resulting economic damage and failure caused by lefty/green thinking.

  21. Boambee John says:

Only the rich can afford to be socialists or communists.

  22. Lee says:

I cannot believe how many really wealthy people are communists.

I don’t think there is any other kind.

They think that their support will give them immunity or protected status, however left wing or communist revolutions nearly all always end up with them eating their own, especially the wealthy.
