  1. Dr Faustus says:

    Subheading:

Top politician tells Aussies to not ‘take sides’ in Israeli conflict

Andrew Barr = top politician = long bow.
Outside of the Canberra bubble, 97.3% of Australians have never heard of the swine.

  2. C.L. says:

A little too grim, NFA, my friend – but I get it.

  3. Lee says:

I thought that Dan Andrews and his government were terrible, but even he would not condone or support terrorist attacks on Israel, like ACT and Green scum.

  4. Lee says:

I was under the probably mistaken impression that Hamas was a proscribed organisation in Australia.

No probs… but he is one of the greatest scum, barr none.

I was under the probably mistaken impression that Hamas was a proscribed organisation in Australia.

ASIO are too busy watching ‘right wing’ Catholics.

  7. Perplexed of Brisbane says:

Surprised the MSM aren’t calling the muslim’s actions ‘post-birth abortions.’ One’s done in the open, the other is done in a (sterile) room with medically trained persons.

  8. Old Lefty says:

Hasn’t anyone told Gay Barr what Hamas do to queers when the Western luvvie media aren’t looking?

  9. Buccaneer says:

David Pocock seems very quiet about Hamas

  10. twostix says:

Baby beheadings = Ghost of Kiev = Syrian chemical weapons = babies in incubators being tipped out on the floor in Iraq.

If Israel keeps encouraging the peddling of made up atrocity porn by the western yellow media for cheap consumption by the bored, gore enamoured, abortionist loving, godless, largely impotent western populace, the care factor for the war by the same will go to zero in a month. As it did Ukraine when they did exactly the same thing (does nobody remember?). And, judging by history of every US puppet state over the last 30 years who have played the same US state dept. playbook, they will ultimately lose.

Need to be more sober, supporters need to be more critical or it’s already lost.

  11. Franx says:

As with reports of news about ‘news’ and news of ‘accounts’ – in the linked articles – so with the globalists’ s coordinated lighting up of buildings in an attempt to bind and blind.

  12. C.L. says:

I’m pretty sure Hamas did indeed murder upwards of 1200 men, women, children and babies. I don’t think that’s made up.

The difference with Ukraine is that nothing that happened there has been seen or filmed. It is the most redacted war since the 18th century.

  13. Franx says:

The reporting of what is known is one thing; the reporting of news that there has been ‘news’ of babies being beheaded is something else, almost as if it were not enough that babies were caught up in killing sprees.
Whatever is Ukraine, it is not a killing spree perpetrated by frenzied escapees from behind barbed wire and concrete walls.

  14. Baba says:

True CL, but given the provenance of the original reports, the 40 beheaded babies story is almost certainly a fabrication.

Not that it matters now. It is accepted truth, confirmed by the President of the United States.

  15. C.L. says:

It’s not much of an argument, to be honest.

‘Sure, Hamas killed men, women, children and babies in kibbutzes (and elsewhere) but, look, the figure 40 popped into the narrative without IDF authorisation – which means Hamas is being given an unfair rap.’

The number was not “fabricated.” It derived from what a journalist in situ at Kfar Aza – Nicole Zedek – reported about beheadings and the number of children she was told had been taken away in body bags. The conflation – if it was conflation – was done by Twitterers. If she was less than perfectly accurate in her description of events – surrounded as she and other reporters were by dead bodies – I’m not chastising her for it.

There is a species of fake news which seeks to disestablish substantive truth with quibbling – and this is a specialty of Paliwood and the left.

  16. Franx says:

The journalist in situ was also aware that even while she was speaking the population of nearby Gaza was being shelled. It is not conscionable that the population of Gaza is attacked as a way of retaliating against Hamas atrocities, unless it is believed that Gaza itself is the perpetrator of the atrocities against Israeli citizens, for then, and without the sounds accompanying any shelling, there is the silent justification of turning off water and electricity.

  17. C.L. says:

The story of beheaded babies in Kfar Aza originated from one source:

    As I just said.

  18. Baba says:

I didn’t claim the journalist fabricated the story.

  19. NFA says:

And Albo and his Barr mate are still scum!

  20. C.L. says:

    What NFA said.

  21. Lee says:

Hypothetical exculpatory comment: “So, you’re saying that the babies were shot, not decapitated? Okay, we should cut slack for Hamas in that case.”

  22. Baba says:

This lie cannot be attributed to the fog of war. All lies are told for a purpose. What was the purpose of this lie?

  23. NFA says:

    Fogs, conspiracy. People are dead.

  24. Franx says:

The number was not “fabricated.” It derived from what a journalist in situ at Kfar Aza – Nicole Zedek – reported about beheadings and the number of children she was told had been taken away in body bags. The conflation – if it was conflation – was done by Twitterers.

The journalist in situ made a point of referring to beheadings. Why would she – given that for most people, there is indeed a difference between gunning children down and beheading them, which is not to say,

Okay, we should cut slack for Hamas in that case.

Thus in either case, whether claiming a difference or not, the lie has become the devious ploy whereby to argue one way or another about any difference is to be bound by, held tight in the discursive field, that field which is the lie of beheadings.

And incidentally, on this site, too, there continue to be claims about decapitated Jewish babies. Yet to decline to refute is to allow the lie to increase and multiply while to bother to refute is to be bound by the discourse of the lie so that refuting the beheadings becomes a discourse of the manner of the atrocities but not a refuting of the lie itself and as such about the beheadings. And so it goes.

  25. Fat Tony says:

What was the purpose of this lie?

Civilised decent people do not like babies being hurt, let alone killed.

Shooting babies is one thing (bad enough) but beheading babies would cause righteous anger – supporting whomever wants to get vengeance on the perpetrators.

  26. C.L. says:

There is no evidence it is a “lie.”

  27. Baba says:

There is no evidence it is a “lie.”

The White House has walked back Biden’s confirmation. So there’s that.

  28. Franx says:

There is no evidence it is a “lie.”

The lie is on the construct of the discourse.
