Look how quick the public turned on him by the end of that year.
… the MSM isn’t The Public, Toss.
Sure, they did the Full Court Press over the Hawaiian holiday, but no one cared.
What brought him undone was Brittany Higgins going public.
That killed the Liberal Party with women voters, they were punished again at the Aston ByElection and the anger was still there at the Referendum.
YES 62/38 among Women and it could get worse, while Albanese stays overseas and positions himself for a shift in public opinion over Gaza.

Yes, Albos Toss is right about the Shorten and Bowen factor.
Still, it was a surprise how many people around me joined in the ‘Scomo’ vibe-thing.
They didn’t see an oily salesman.
However, it was others who turned against him, vote-wise.

Morrison had that crooked grin – sort of appealing. He probably knew it.

    Now Peter Dutton –
a man who doesn’t have the looks to win over ‘the public’.
    I’ve never discounted him.

    Oh, Ed!

Try to broaden your mind. There are more issues in Australian politics than the misadventures of zMizzz Knickerless.

  5. Buccaneer says:

Not sure why I’m bothering to ask this because pretty much everything Ed posts is bullshit.

    YES 62/38 among Women

Where did you get this from, it would mean that men voted No 75/25.

Not actually expecting an answer because, well, he’s never really backed much up with evidence before. I’d be embarrassed to host him, if it were my blog.

  6. Lee says:

Where did you get this from

The same place he got that the referendum result was good for Labor’s reelection prospects, bad for the Liberals, because of some magical sleight of hand with statistics.

  7. Boambee John says:

    Lee

    Plucked from his fundamental orifice?

  8. Ed Case says:

SKY pushing the line that the Liberals are finished in high income electorates and their future lies in traditional Labor electorates, according to polling from [chortle] RedBridge.
The Liberals would hafta be pretty stupid to buy this BS, but stranger things have happened.
