  1. NFA says:

Albanes is a straight up honest communist act.

    No doubles about it.

    He is the real deal.

I wonder what interest rate increase his RBA will pass in December to appease his globalist masters?

  2. Pat Mac says:

    Successful?
Ha ha Speers has no clue.

    More words fail me

  3. NFA says:

Albanese is more like a double agent with Australia as his real enemy.

Not a double agent – it’s obvious that the Sleaze doesn’t serve this country.

  5. Old School Conservative says:

    I’ve found the problem:
    “writes David Spears”

  6. Petros says:

The sad reality is that our economy depends upon China. What are we to do? Tell them to get stuffed? Lay down with dogs etc.

  7. Old School Conservative says:

Petros, our ruling class is very confused.
China is our friend and trading partner. Witness the salivating over wine exports getting back into the China market.
But China is also our potential foe. The AUKUS agreement, investment in submarines, and moves to contain China’s future military dominance of Asia are the other side of the coin.

I’m sure diplomacy means not having to choose one theory or the other but to manage a difficult path between the two, but ultimately Australia will have to make a decision – China as a great friend and ally or not.

  8. Morsie says:

How about we start to decouple and I know its a sin, encourage our own manufacturers.
If we are to have these solar panels at least get them made here.

Trade is a 2 way street, they take our raw materials, we take their manufactured goods.
Do we want a polluting Solar Panels Industry here?
    Probably not.
Wanna pay $70 bucks for an Aussie made T-shirt rather than $7 for a Chinese made one?
I’m open to that idea, but it’s the end of Big W and K Mart.

If they are not trying to decouple from China at this point, they are traitors. China will never be “great friend”.

  11. Ed Case says:

Remember the employment outlook through the Hawke and Keating Governments?
    Dire is the best description.
That’s where we’d start off if we decoupled from China, and it would be all downhill from there.
