Canadian court seizes Christianity

AS a matter of jurisprudential fact, unless set aside by a higher court, this order creates a Hitlerian precedent. The state could henceforth stipulate that any minister of religion must enunciate official propaganda whenever the tenets of a faith are at odds with it. Now, it could be objected that Pastor Pawlowski is not entitled to endanger others by encouraging them to disregard ‘health orders.’ Few would object to intervention if he was telling congregants to commit violent acts.

However, given that Western states have invented a casuistical distinction between compelling and ‘mandating,’ Justice Adam Germain is on a lawless jaunt in assigning culpability to a preacher for choices his hearers make about superstitions like “mask wearing.” Pawlowski might be yelling Liar! but he isn’t yelling Fire! Speech that is impermissible unless ‘counterbalanced’ by the ‘other side’ is an act of violence against conscience.

There is evidence that masks work.
Given that all Christians hold life is sacred no Christian would put anyone in danger.

You have given no biblical evidence on this subject.

There is evidence that masks work.

There is also evidence that they are counter productive, and can actually be harmful.

    Worst troll ever.

    Why so hysterical, Paxton?

Has that idol of Big Government you worship developed some nasty-looking cracks in its feet of clay?

(We told you not to buy from the lowest bidder…)

    Actually they work very well.

how come deplorables have no idea of what trolling is.
Still no biblical evidence for no vaccines. It must be that Christians are told not to kill people eh!

    Actually they work very well.

Written by a pair of economists, not epidemiologists or medical authorities.

If you go back to the original language, the Commandment is “Thou shalt not murder”, which is subtly different, but that is probably beyond your comprehension.

They certainly work very well for the manufacturers!

  10. Lee says:

The fact that these economists work for the IMF is enough on its own to send up the red flag and set off alarm bells as far as I am concerned.

It pays to have some knowledge of theology before spouting off like that, Paxton.

As previously pointed out to you, your wording is wrong. Furthermore, why are you looking to the Bible and wilfully misinterpreted Christian doctrine to say that any Believer who does not comply with your egoticstical demands is un-Christian?

Is this like beloved Uncle Joe publicly declaring that any African-American who did not vote for him “Ain’t Black?”
