Very sorry to say, but the events of the last two years suggest to me that many Australians in the same situation would have betrayed the Frank family, just as they were in 1944.

Also the political elite in Australia have ginned up a mentally broken cult-follower mob and now have it at their disposal. Like old century demagogues they’re going to point it at a tiny group that wants nothing else but to be left alone to take the mob’s eyes off the unfolding catastrophe, the nascent humanitarian crises that they have created over the last two years in this country with their imbecilic policy and edicts and Science! based social engineering.
Empty shelves, a collapsing health system, education system begging for volunteers, etc right now have nothing to do with “covid” a virus, it’s tangled mess of covid policy, ‘mandates’ and cultural intertia from their Jim Jones style ‘mandating’ over the last two years that has created it. And they’re panicing that they don’t know what to do to fix it without also admitting it’s all their fault. And I believe they honestly don’t know how to fix it without losing all of their political heads.
So in their eyes, if it’s to be us or them, the physical lives of the last five unvaccinated people it is.
It’s very obvious that this only ends with the banning of RATs and the abolition of all restrictions. People who get sick will get sick. People who don’t, won’t. Life goes on with improved protocols for the elderly and vulnerable etc. The state cannot ‘win’ and will never ‘win’ .
Exactly ML. As I say when asked, there is no vaccine currently for coronavirus… if one comes along I’ll consider having it. Currently the govt offer only therapeutic shots with very low and short term efficacy.
I have not heard how things stand, number wise, with the double-vaxxed, whether they are not ‘hesitant’ regarding boosters or are prepared to be newly categorised as unvaxxed, or anti vax. I suppose all vax campaigns will now need to get increasingly condemnatory and menacing to ensure that the many who are vaccinated stay in the fold without being tempted to join the the unvaxxed who at present are (merely) a thorn in the side. Might only take half of the double vaxxed to resist … .
The list of utterly useless government initiatives to end the crisis continues. The CovidSafe App (lol remember that?), masks, lockdowns, vaccines, boosters, vaccine passports, banning singing, dancing and standing, closing businesses, closing schools, shutting borders, limiting patrons, quarantine, QR codes, PCR tests, now RATs and banning Serbian tennis players.
None have worked and none will. The only way to end it is to end all the above. Governments must know this so draw your own conclusions from that.
