  1. C.L. says:

Read the article and wait in vain for the “many questioning.” And note that “climate change” is cited as an “existential” phenomenon more important than God.

  2. Boambee John says:

“Many are questioning” means two ABC j’ismists chatting in the Chairman’s Lounge.

  3. NFA says:

Meanwhile, in Australia, the devil worshipers are spending billions on silicone blocks, windmills and destroying the natural landscape to appease the net-zero cult.

  4. P says:

    Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
    But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.

  5. Tel says:

The ABC gets a budget which was taken from the people at gunpoint.

Last I checked, most Christian churches still make it voluntary how much you want to chip in … no comparison.

  6. Tel says:

And note that “climate change” is cited as an “existential” phenomenon more important than God.

You misunderstand … actually Climate Change is God but the ABC are quibbling over the shape of the cathedral.

  7. Well-Informed says:

BJ (1.41pm). Yeah. Maggie Thatcher REALLY nailed George Negus when he tried this on with her. “WHO is doing the questioning? Names please!” Is the correct response for EVERY leftist liar (Editor: Redundant. Is there any other kind of leftist?).

  8. Old Lefty says:

So much for the ABC’s supposed horror of all forms of racism. These Third World primitives do need to learn their place, don’t they?

This type of racism, by the way, also occurs among the ‘progressive’ Catholic fifth columnists who make up our Plenary Council and ‘Synodal’ ‘reformers’. ‘Pietistic’ is their boo word for Third World primitives who still (snigger snigger) believe in God and chastity.

  9. Old Lefty says:

I have enough Irish in me, by the way, to retain a folk memory of my ancestors’ making sacrifices to build churches as imposing as possible, for the glory of God but also to make a statement to the society that despised them.

  10. Tony Taylor says:

“Many questioning” is three simpatico barrackers.

  11. Tony Taylor says:

    On Twitter

  12. Perfidious Albino says:

The lack of self awareness at the ABC remains extraordinary.

  13. Buccaneer says:

Isn’t it amazing how the building of churches in Samoa contributes to unspecified inequality not jobs for a community with limited opportunity, yet a lefty government in Australia creates a housing crisis through excess immigration and restrictions on property and proposes it to be solved via taxpayer funded housing and that’s entirely ok.

  14. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Beare says:

Samoans take their religion seriously. Sunday in a Samoan village (which we experienced) was an absolute cacophony of voices and songs from the different denominations of churches there in the main street. The ABC haven’t got a clue about what that means, so they go off on these silly tangents. If God comes first then money spent to glorify God is always money well spent: the medieval cathedral builders knew a bit about that.

  15. Much better to be a government-funded to broadcaster living off confiscated funds whether appreciated or not than a church managing the offerings of the faithful.
